Jordyn Gardner is a Scottish fibre artist who uses crochet as her method of art making. She is from the small town of Arbroath, on the north east coast of Scotland, and she studied Contemporary Art Practice at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen.

Jordyn is an advocate for animal rights and chooses to use her work as a means of activism and education, aiming to be a voice for these animals and give them the compassion and understanding they deserve. Using soft, plant-based fibres, she sets out to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where the topic of animal rights and sustainability can be discussed in a safe space.

The exhibited works Quien No Llora No Mama and Udder Comforts explore the hidden secrets and injustice of the dairy industry. Jordyn hopes that she can help educate others about the food industry in a safe and inclusive way.
