Santiago Del Pozo is a Spanish multidisciplinary artist based in Edinburgh. He graduated in Fine Art in 2023, specialising in Sculpture and Environmental Art at Glasgow School of Art.

Since graduating, his sculptural work has been awarded the Barnbeth Prize for Sculpture and has been recognised by Glasgow Art Club and the Visual Artist and Craft Maker Awards. He is currently furthering his practice by developing new artistic projects at Paolozzi Project Space, Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop.

As a fundamental part of his work, he frequents the natural environment that surrounds him. It is his main source of inspiration and is where he easily finds noble materials to work with, such as wood, clay or resin. His work philosophy is based on respect for the environment and therefore he strives to develop sustainable projects that produce zero emissions and zero costs. His art installations are the result of a reflection on human behaviour and its relationship with nature, and aim to generate debate on the current way of producing and consuming.

He is also interested in those meeting places where nature and human beings coincide in order to analyse the points that unite us and blur the line that separates us; mixed places which offer a wide variety of hybrid objects to work with.
