In my practice I explore the beauty of uncertainties and ambiguities of the subjective experience. I am interested in everything subconscious, every thought, every question, and the influence on the consciousness. I look for reasons, for determining factors and possible consequences, good or bad. I try to grasp these influences and to recognize and possibly translate the further influence on what is to come. Seemingly intangible and subliminal accompaniments of feelings fascinate me, even if they make me uncomfortable.
The images in my work are often overlapping and transparent, merging into one another and becoming something entirely new, creating multiple and non-linear narratives somewhere between the real and surreal. I try to embrace the strange beauty of the uncanny and unknown.
In 2024, I graduated with a BA (HONS) in painting from Gray’s School of Art. I received the Caram Trust Award in 2022, the RGU Art and Heritage Award and the Daniel John Steven Bequest Award for Excellence in Painting in 2024.
