I am a Finnish-South African visual artist living and working in Edinburgh, having graduated with a BA in Sculpture from Edinburgh College of Art in 2024. My practice spans sculpture, drawing and printmaking.

 

Collecting and collections form the basis of my practice. Through subtle intervention I highlight the latent gravitas of objects which are discarded or overlooked. Curation is a central part of my practice, and I am interested in the tensions and relationships which can be created between objects within a space.

 

Through the creation of pseudo-functional sculptural objects and 'pseudo-specimens’, and the employment of fishing tackle objects, I investigate the human relationship with the natural world.
