Elected ARSA: 1826
The Council, at a meeting held on the 18th April, felt it a duty they owed to the memory of the late W. H. Lizars, Esq., to record on their Minutes their respect for that gentleman as an artist, and their grateful estimation of exertions made by him in the capacity of Honorary Assistant Secretary during some years of the early struggles of the Academy.
A copy of that minute was directed to be communicated to Mrs. Lizars, with the respectful sympathy of the President and Council.
