Gabriele Jogelaite is a visual artist and educator. Although not born in Scotland she now considers it to be her home, having moved from Lithuania in 2009 to study Fine Art at DJCAD, Dundee. She went on to complete the MLitt Printmaking degree in 2015 at GSA and TQFE degree in 2021 at UoA. Since 2017 Gabriele has been working in further education and currently hold a position in the Fine Art Foundry.

Gabriele’s artistic practice explores the qualities of line, texture and form. Her work considers movement of marks, weight and transparency of materials. The shapes, patterns and lines form an image illustrating a sense of duration and topics of ever changing personal interests.
