This is a plan to renovate disused warehouses as the first phase of an ambitious project to transform this area of former dockyards into Ireland's IT innovation centre. The proposal accommodates emerging enterprises individually, in small groups and in more conventional groups in self-contained offices. A section of floor is to be removed to allow light to a basement and telephone room/meeting room towers are constructed in the void. A cafe, exhibition and lecture space are designed and aimed at the public as is a hard landscaped square. More private is a garden at a lower level for the use of the centres' users and for special events. The project is expected to be on site shortly.
