The artist: "I am a bystander, a fly on the wall.
I am intrigued by the places where an invisible authority lies, institutional systems that she has experienced, and the objects and behaviours seen within them.
Casting is an important process of my interdisciplinary practice. It plays a vital role in Sanitisation Station (2020) as the sculptures are made of solid soap (or glycerin). The flavours are as follows (left to right): Organic and white soap blend, African Black (natural), White, Organic, Shea Butter and oat blend, and Cucumber, carrot and aloe blend."
