The RSA Art Rental scheme offers you a wonderful opportunity to enjoy outstanding artworks in your workplace at a fraction of the cost of purchasing them outright. We offer a wide range of contemporary artworks direct from artists’ studios across Scotland as well as paintings from our own collections.
Our collections date from the eighteenth century through to the present day and include works by eminent Scottish artists, notably John Lavery, Anne Redpath, Sir William Gillies, Joan Eardley, Sir Robin Phillipson, Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, John Houston, Elizabeth Blackadder, John Byrne, Victoria Crowe and Barbara Rae. Our collection has been Recognised as of National Significance in its unique value to the nation.
Since its introduction, our artwork rental service has gone from strength to strength. We cater to a wide variety of tastes and styles offering artworks by established artists as well as rising names. The artists we work with include Ade Adesina, Robbie Bushe, Henry Kondracki, Ruth Nicol, Calum McClure, Lynsey Mackenzie, Emily Moore, Catharine Davison and many more. The Royal Scottish Academy is an independent charity and income from our art rental scheme goes towards the upkeep of the RSA Collections whilst providing support for independent artists working across the country.
