Research

Research appointments are available at our collections department from Monday to Friday. Our collections team will be happy to welcome you, but please contact us in advance to check the material you require is available and to book your appointment.

If you have a general enquiry, please contact us by email if possible.

We do not provide valuations or authentications and would advise you to contact a reputable auction house or dealer.

    Lothian Bus services 8, 16, 38, 47, 113, and the Airport Skylink 200 bus, all pass nearby Granton Art Centre

     

    By Train

    You can catch a bus or taxi from Edinburgh Haymarket and Waverley stations to Granton Art Centre

     

    By Tram

    Not yet! But the Newhaven tram link will take you within half an hour's walk once up and running in 2023.

     

    By Car

    Granton Art Centre has a small car park for research visitors. As we are on a secure site, your car must be booked in advance with us.

     

    Access

    Granton Art Centre is fully wheelchair accessible and has stair free access to the ramp at the north west corner of the building
