New School Entrant Award - Junior Prize Winner

From the artist: I feel very honoured to have won such a prestigious price. My family and I are very proud of my achievements. I am grateful for the positive feedback from everyone and I am excited to see all the winner’s artwork on display alongside my own.

I have enjoyed art since I can remember, I’ve explored different media and found inspiration from various sources. I chose to do cherry blossom trees because they come out in spring and the task I was set to do was to make a cheerful spring landscape.
