Regional Award - Senior North Winner

From the artist: I am honoured and excited to receive such a prestigious award and am looking forward to seeing where this will lead me in my artistic journey.
My work this year was all about the pressure of expectations. I started with images of myself – how I see me – and added a reflection of a sphere, which represents the weight of the expectations. I tried to blend the two to convey how pressures put on you, both by yourself and others, can change your perception of self.
