From the artist: I am passionate about the impact of climate change on the world's animals, this is what inspired me to create works consisting of animals and their skeletons in order to convey an impactful message about their endangerment.
The chairman’s challenge of “The world needs more of this” made me think about raising awareness of this issue. I wanted to paint the polar bears because they are affected by climate change, we see them balancing on tiny melting icebergs consistently. By adding the skeleton cubs I show what a lack of awareness would means to all living things on the planet.
