From the artist: This piece was inspired by my class. I was experimenting with watercolour at the time and thought working on a bigger piece would be a fun challenge in the medium. It took me just over a month to finish it and my class was really supportive of the whole thing, and I’m very grateful for their help. It feels great to have won second place in the competition, a bit scary too. I would like to thank Mr. Taylor, Miss MacLennan and Class 1.5 of Glasgow Gaelic School. Mòran Taing!
