Join Constructed Narratives artist Arthur Watson PPRSA and writer, singer and Honorary Academician Margaret Bennett for an evening of traditional Scottish folk singing.
Folk music, traditionally passed down orally and socially, reflects the life and culture of people throughout history. Arthur Watson, who is renowned for both his visual art and his deep connection to ephemeral elements within Scottish culture, will share his passion for oral traditions and social singing. Margaret Bennett, acclaimed as Scotland’s foremost folklorist, will bring her exceptional talent and extensive knowledge of folk music to the evening.
