The Academicians' Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of recent work by Kate Downie RSA.
East to West will feature a range of new works by Kate Downie RSA, based on her most recent residency in China. On display will be a range of printworks, drawings and paintings in both oil and ink. The works in this exhibition have been selected from Downie's larger exhibition entitled Shared Vision, which has recently been on display in Stirling and Aberdeen. Now the exhibition comes home to Edinburgh and the magnificent galleries of the RSA. The Shared Vision exhibition at the RSA will be completed by a selection of larger works based on traditional Chinese ink paintings, which are on display in the 190th RSA Annual Exhibition.
