RSA New Contemporaries, supported by Walter Scott & Partners Ltd, represents the Royal Scottish Academy's commitment to supporting and promoting contemporary art and architecture in Scotland.
Now in its thirteenth year, the exhibition offers a unique opportunity to see some of the best emerging talent in Scotland under one roof. Showcasing 56 graduates selected from the 2020 degree shows, the exhibition will feature a wonderful array of painting, sculpture, film-making, photography, printmaking, installation, performance and architecture.

The selection was made by exhibition Convenor Marion Smith RSA, with assistance from fellow Academicians and representatives from the five main colleges of art, and the five Scottish schools of architecture are each represented by graduates selected by Architecture Convenor Fergus Purdie RSA.
We are delighted that the exhibition is once again kindly supported by our Exhibition Patrons Walter Scott & Partners Ltd and, for the thirteenth consecutive year, The Skinny is our Media Partner.
