We’re delighted to present selected works by Dame Elizabeth Blackadder RSA and John Houston RSA at Gracefield Arts Centre, Dumfries this August.

The show follows on from the success of our major exhibition focusing on Elizabeth Blackadder and John Houston’s shared travels, research and studio practices, which was presented at the Royal Scottish Academy in August 2023. A Journey Shared at Gracefield Arts Centre will feature over 40 works by the couple, with early drawings and paintings on view alongside masterworks from their mature periods.
Works by Blackadder and Houston will be presented alongside items from the Gracefield collection, and prints, paintings and drawings will be available to purchase.
