Intermediate Award - Second Prize Winner.
The artist: "My work was inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat. We had been looking at his work and style in class. I enjoyed his use of text and personal images. This allowed me to add words and feelings to my work. I enjoyed working with mixed media and lettering in first language. I am delighted to be showing my work in the exhibition."
