Regional Award - Intermediate North Winner.

The artist: "These pieces were created as my development studies for my national 5 expressive portfolio. The theme for this portfolio was ‘In the Art Room’ and incorporated many different tools that an artist may use. The coloured study was completed with coloured pencils whilst the monochrome study was completed in pencil tonal, a personal favourite media. Winning this award is incredibly humbling and I think of this as a huge honour, especially when there are so many talented artists taking part. I am extremely thankful for being chosen as one of the winners, as well as for everyone who has encouraged and supported me in order to get me here. I feel incredibly lucky and grateful for being given this award and I hope that I am able to make the people that have supported me proud through this."
