Regional Award - Senior West Winner.
The artist: "My piece is a self-portrait in pencil. The drawing is part of my Advanced Higher coursework, which is inspired by Frida Kahlo and symbolism in art. I'm interested in way animals and objects can represent something meaningful to the artist. Winning an RSA Schools Art Award means a lot to me, it’s a big honour. I'm currently applying to Art School to study Fine Art and winning the award has really helped my confidence with this."
