New School Award - Junior Award Winner.
The artist: "When I sat down to start the art piece I wanted to make it perfect, plan it out with lots of detail. But in the end I just drew what I saw on my desk because it is somewhere that I have seen a lot of recently. At first I was a bit scared to show how messy it was. But in the end I really enjoyed just drawing what I saw. I added things that were on my desk such as old pieces of paper and things that I found around the house such as tinfoil. I also used acrylic paint, sharpies and ink. This project made me realise that you just need to have fun with making art, playing with different materials was so much fun and I couldn’t be happier with the finished result!"
