Create a living legacy
You can become a patron of the RSA by creating a Living Legacy. Either as a one off payment or a regular donation, Living Legacies can be started at any time of your choosing and can be used to support any RSA activity that you wish.
Create a lasting legacy
A bequest in your Will can take several forms, and we can send further details of these. Remembering the Royal Scottish Academy in your will may also reduce your inheritance tax liabilities as we are a registered charity. Leaving a proportion of your estate means that the Royal Scottish Academy will only benefit after family and friends are provided for and all other liabilities have been met. We strongly recommend that you seek professional advice when making or changing your will to ensure that your gift best matches your wishes.
How to leave a legacy
Should you require further information either on bequests or on legacies, please contact us for further information and guidelines. We would like to ensure that your intentions, as specified in your Will, are met, therefore it may be helpful to arrange a confidential meeting to discuss your ideas further. Please note, any information you provide is treated in the strictest confidence and is in no way binding.
