RSA New Contemporaries 2025 Award Winners

We are delighted to announce a full list of award winners in this year's RSA New Contemporaries. We would like to extend a huge thank you to our external award givers for their generosity and support.

 

External Awards

The Glenfiddich Artist in Residence Award

£5,000 for three-month residency including studio space, accommodation and a material allowance of up to £10,000. Exhibition opportunity at Glenfiddich with a work accessioned to the Glenfiddich Collection.

£800, split £400 each for an artist living in the Grampian region or having studied at Gray’s School of Art.

Edinburgh Printmakers Residency Award

A printmaking course, 30 sessions (the equivalent of 1-month free studio use), 2 weeks accommodation in EP’s artists apartment and a £100 materials budget, a year’s membership and a studio space.

National Library of Scotland Purchase Prize for Moving Image

The Skinny Prize

A two-page presentation of the artist's work in the print publication and shared online, an interview feature with the artist, timed to best coincide with promotion of future projects.
