Our new website

The Royal Scottish Academy is delighted to launch our new website and brand identity.

In consultation with our members, supporters, visitors and staff, our brand identity has been overhauled to reflect the scope and vision of the Academy today. In collaboration with Eido Studio, we have sought to reflect our core values of creativity, collaboration, support, independence and accessibility whilst celebrating our passion for supporting art and architecture in Scotland.

With support from Museums and Galleries Scotland we have created a new website which brings together resources for everyone with an interest in Scottish art. Designed by Artlogic, the new site celebrates the breadth of the Academy's activities including our exhibitions, collections, artist opportunities, RSA Friends group and much more.

What's On is the first port of call to find out about all our upcoming exhibitions and events. Our new History feature lets you explore the near 200-year-history of the Academy, from its founding in 1826 to now. Our redesigned Academician pages provide fascinating insights into the working practices of our members.

Our brand and website launch opens a new chapter for the Academy and is the beginning of an exciting period as we look towards our 200th anniversary in 2026. We have further developments planned for launch later this year including a new area of the site which will offer incredible opportunities to experience our important holdings of Scottish art and architecture entirely online for the first time.
