This sketchbook features a range of sketches, extracted from several books and pasted into one. Featuring watercolour and pastel sketches of several religious sites and a range of colourful landscapes this sketchbook is a good example of the breadth of Redpath’s muses.
Not only does this book feature a range of pasted in sketches, amongst some of the loose sketches in the back of the book is an example of Redpath’s still life works, which she was renowned for. This near completed sketch of a blue dresser is a good example of the pre-cursers to several of Redpath’s final paintings.
