As an inter-media artist my practice is a little all over the place, encompassing anything from wood carving to 3D digital modelling. The various purposes can range from a simple toy to an educational reconstruction, but currently I have been exploring painting as a form of documentation through storytelling.

In my most recent artworks I’ve been researching aspects of dystopian human societies, exploring how and why people may not recognise them. I then create illustrations that will appear wholly unfamiliar to the viewer at first glance, but when details are added up, allude to situations well known and experienced.

Look further than the warmth of bright colours, notice how much lays in disarray.

Yet again look further past the discord to notice the pattern.

Each moment a different time but not a different place.

One after the other the story continues as old as you can remember yet you forgot, you looked away for too long. Will you remember how you are a part of this story just as much as I and they and stop looking away?
