Ada Prosowicz was born in 1999 in Cracow, Poland. At the age of 18 she moved to Scotland where she studied contemporary art.

Inspiration in Ada’s artistic practice is driven by emotionally impactful events in the present. The boundary between her personal life and public creations remains ambiguous. Her works often take on a diary-like form, with the photographs presented to the public potentially serving as a mere documentation of her life. The evolution of her inspiration mirrors the changes in her own life.

During moments of frustration with her upbringing, her art became a reflection of those sentiments. In times of relationship crises, her works centred around the intricacies of human communication. Now, as a young adult, she grapples with accepting a reality that everyone else seems to embrace, and her newest work is a manifestation of this struggle.
